(Agile) Project Manager (f/m/d) - Inhouse Consulting Regulatory Change

We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented (agile) Project Manager (f/m/d) for our In‑house Consulting team in Enterprise Project Management to help deliver projects related to regulatory changes and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of (agile) project management and analytical skills, experience within the Investment Management business and relevant regulations, as well as an understanding of solutions for internal clients across Investment and Operations. This position is based in our Frankfurt or Munich office.

What you will do

  • Lead projects with a focus on our operational investment infrastructure to implement changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements across the EU and UK
  • Facilitate the assessment of regulatory requirements and their impact on Operations, Investment, and IT
  • Moderate workshops involving affected teams and various management levels
  • Plan and execute projects independently, taking ownership of project outcomes and overall project success, while acting as an internal management consultant
  • Actively support and contribute to multiple topics and projects in parallel, setting priorities accordingly

What you bring

  • Excellent university degree, preferably in Business or Finance
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with (agile) project management methodologies
  • Ideally certified in SCRUM or another (agile) project management certification
  • Relevant experience (at least 2-3+ years) in managing regulatory reform initiatives within the Asset Management industry
  • Knowledge of T+1 settlement, EMIR, and derivatives clearing is preferred; exposure to additional regulations such as AIFMD/UCITS or the Retail Investment Strategy is a plus
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills, high interpersonal competence, strong motivation, and a positive work attitude
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functions, including Portfolio Management, IT, Distribution, and external service providers
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-through skills and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in English; an additional European language is a plus
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python is a plus
  • Experience with Generative AI / GenAI / Generative Artificial Intelligence
