AI & Automation Engineer (Python/JavaScript): Designing and implementing AI and automation solutions across Mintos with an accent on scalable architecture, system integration, and reliable execution. Focus on translating business needs into robust technical solutions, building AI-enabled workflows, and ensuring compliance with security and data standards.

Location: Hybrid, with ability to work from another country for up to three months per year. Team works across Europe .

Mintos is a financial technology company building a platform to help millions of people across Europe build long-term wealth, currently in the process of obtaining a banking license from the European Central Bank (ECB).

What you will do

• Design, build, and implement automation solutions using no-code, low-code, and scripting.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and integration workflows.
• Develop integrations using APIs, structured data flows, and authentication mechanisms.
• Extend automations using Python or JavaScript when needed.
• Prototype and test AI-enabled workflows before scaling.
• Monitor and optimise automations for reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with no-code / low-code tools (Zapier, Make, n8n).
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python or JavaScript).
• Understanding of APIs, JSON structures, and authentication concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based AI platforms (Vertex AI, Azure AI, AWS).
• Experience in business operations, digital transformation, automation, or AI‑related initiatives.
• Fluent English .

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services (corporate banking, investment, private equity, venture capital).
• Experience in regulated or data‑sensitive environments.
• University degree in a relevant field.
• Experience experimenting with emerging AI tools or LLM integrations.
