Airbus - Systems & Regulatory Compliance Engineer (d/m/f) Manching

Our client in Manching is looking for a Systems & Regulatory Compliance Engineer. Responsibilities include: reviewing circuit diagrams, layouts, traces, drawings, requirements, system and process documentation for accuracy and completeness; ensuring the conformity of all documents with internal quality, development, and documentation standards; monitoring workflows and taking corrective action in case of deviations to maintain process integrity; supporting Cameo models (MBSE/SysML) and maintaining product documentation in Confluence; creating bilingual manuals (German/English), data storage, and performing configuration checks; serving as the central point of contact for Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC) between project teams and regulatory bodies; conducting risk analyses to identify regulatory hurdles early on; supporting certifications and CE marking to ensure marketability; maintaining the product safety file and providing lifecycle support from design through prototyping to manufacturing; and utilizing modern AI tools for creating, translating, and optimizing technical content.

• Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technical Writing or a comparable technical qualification with appropriate further training and relevant experience.

• Solid understanding of electrical circuits, circuit diagram reviews, and confident handling of technical drawings and complex system descriptions.

• Ideally, experience in quality assurance, quality management or regulatory compliance (preferably from the aviation or automotive industry)

• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. CE directives, ISO standards) and experience in conducting risk analyses

• Detailed MS Office skills, experience with Confluence, and familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Cameo Systems Modeler / SysML.

• Safe application of modern AI tools for text and documentation optimization

• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written (cite: 3)

• Strong communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders (development, production, project management) and a proactive working style (cite: 3)
