API Developer, Application Analyst – Contract

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain complex Epic research interfaces and integrations.
• Build and support secure API integrations between Epic, REDCap, OnCore, SPARC, and third‑party applications.
• Develop HL7 and FHIR‑based interfaces to securely exchange healthcare data.
• Create secure data structures, perform data validation, and support large‑scale healthcare data analysis.
• Work closely with Epic Security teams to ensure compliance and secure clinical data exchange.
• Support Epic Research workflows and advanced Epic clinical build activities.
• Collaborate with OnCore and SPARC development teams to implement FHIR‑based clinical trial integrations.
• Troubleshoot, test, maintain, and optimize enterprise healthcare interfaces.
• Support ongoing application development, enhancement, and integration initiatives.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

• Epic Bridges Certification (Mandatory)
• Cloverleaf Interface Engine Experience
• 7+ Years of Epic Technical Build Experience
• HL7 Interface Development
• FHIR API Development & Integration
• Healthcare Systems Integration Experience
• Web Services & API Development Experience
• Data Validation and Data Analysis Experience
