Application Tester (m/f/d)

As an application tester at COGLAS, you plan and carry out software tests for our in-house developed WMS.

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the independent planning and execution of software tests for our in-house developed WMS
• You actively contribute to the selection of suitable test methods and tools
• Developing test concepts and test cases in relation to logistics processes will be your main area of responsibility
• Definition and execution of test plans and test cases (manual or automated) as well as analysis and documentation of the results
• System tests for COGLAS WEB WMS (web application)
• System integration tests for COGLAS WEB WMS, interfaces and interfaces to further IT systems (e.g. carrier portals)
• End-to-end tests
• User acceptance testing
• Regression tests
• UI tests
• Reporting and documenting software defects; creating error and test reports in the form of Jira tickets
• Creation of user documentation in our help centre
• In your role, you work closely with product managers, consultants, the operations team and developers

Your Profile

• Completed IT degree or completed vocational training in the IT field
• At least three years of work experience in comparable positions
• Confident handling of WMS and experience in test planning and execution
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools and Office 365 is an advantage
• Independent, results- and service-oriented working style with sound business understanding
• Good written and spoken German and English
