Assistant Director of Development

The Assistant Director of Development serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Development in advancing sustainable Ministry Partnership Development (MPD) across the Mid-Atlantic Region. This position provides operational, coaching, and programmatic leadership for the Access Pathway Fellows (APF) Network Capacity Building Program while supporting regional fundraising initiatives, donor engagement events, and staff development efforts.
The Assistant Director of Development advances the mission of InterVarsity by helping under‑networked staff develop sustainable support‑raising capacity, cultivating strategic partnerships, and strengthening the infrastructure necessary for long‑term ministry growth.
Pay Range: $44,016.00 - $58,680.00 per year
Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full‑time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual’s ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.
