Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Department, Baptist Emergency at Oakleaf, Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as needed to support operations
• Monitor and improve clinical workflow and patient outcomes
• Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, and departments
• Mentor staff and provide coaching and performance feedback
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and budget management
• Support employee relations and performance evaluations
• Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability
• Facilitate admission, transfer and discharge flow
• Lead implementation of changes
• Support staff development and coaching
• Make shift-to-shift patient care assignments
• Takes direct patient care assignments as needed

Experience

• 3–5 years nursing experience (required)
• Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience (required)
• Leadership and Charge Nurse experience (required)

Education & Credential Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
