Associate Mako Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Training and support for physicians (m/f/d) and OR staff before and during surgeries in the use of the Mako System in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
• Intraoperative instruction for the clinical and technical team on the Mako System and the applications installed on it (hip and knee total endoprosthesis/arthroplasty applications).
• Software guidance to prepare preoperative CT data compatible with Mako and to assist the physician (m/f/d) with preoperative planning.
• Creation of a preview of planned operations using the Mako System.
• Planning, organizing and delivering training programs and presentations for users (m/f/d) from the OR and radiology departments.
• Coordination of newly acquired customers (m/f/d) in collaboration with the endoprosthetics sales team.
• Sales support for all product-specific questions at trade shows and conferences.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a medical environment (e.g., OR surgical assistant/OTA, medical device application specialist, clinical support, physiotherapy).
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to explain complex topics quickly and clearly.
• Strong customer service and client orientation.
• Able to work well under pressure and remain calm in tense situations.
• Reliable organizational and planning skills and a high level of dependability.
• Valid driver's license (class B) and willingness to travel frequently.
• Fluent German and very good English language skills (C1 level) both written and spoken.
• Preferred: degree in medical engineering, bioengineering, or a natural science and initial OR experience.
