Associate Manager, Restructuring – Frankfurt or Dusseldorf, Germany

Interpath is an international advisory business focused on restructuring and advisory services. This role joins our new Germany office, led by experienced Managing Directors, delivering multi‑stakeholder restructuring engagements.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize a client's financial and operational performance.
• Rapidly understand current situation & prospects, including diagnostic assessment of key business and market issues and liquidity forecasting.
• Assess current business plans & financial projections, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Create robust alternative solutions for the business and its stakeholders.
• Write & implement restructuring plans, including creation of integrated financial models and short‑term cash‑flow forecasting tools.

Requirements

• Strong academic background with experience in a restructuring team at a leading consultancy or Big Four.
• Strong financial analysis skills and advanced experience building a range of financial and 3‑statement financial models.
• Prior experience in creating Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), liquidity analysis, market assessment, capital structure analysis, options review and cash flow analysis.
• Native or business‑fluent German & English (C1) is essential; additional European languages such as French and Spanish are advantageous.
