We focus on international and cross‑border matters and plan to establish a new office in North Macedonia.

What you bring

• Fully qualified lawyer (advokat) with solid knowledge of North Macedonian law focused on commercial law
• Well‑rounded commercial lawyer, not narrowly specialized
• Ideally 2–3 years of professional experience (not mandatory)
• Business‑fluent German or English (one of the two) and openness to using translation tools
• High willingness to travel between Germany and North Macedonia
• Open to new legal and economic topics, able to familiarize with international and cross‑border issues, including EU law, private international law, and relevant treaties
• Business and organizational understanding with entrepreneurial enthusiasm
• Independent, structured, honest, discreet, loyal, and effective communicator across distances
• Long‑term, entrepreneurial mindset, creativity in solving complex economic and organizational challenges

Your perspective

• Place of work initially in Dresden, Germany, for 1–2 years
• Comprehensive understanding of our methods, client base, firm culture, and interdisciplinary collaboration with tax team
• Regular project work in North Macedonia parallel to Germany experience
• Transfer and support of the Germany experience to North Macedonia, playing a key role in establishing a new office
• Exact location determined jointly, intentionally kept open

Your responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to companies in a business‑oriented environment
• Advise under North Macedonian law in commercial law, including:
  • Corporate law (formation, restructuring, dissolution)
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Supporting location decisions and investment projects
  • Employment law matters
  • Interface with tax law in close cooperation with tax advisors
• Advise on funding opportunities and business‑related regulatory frameworks
• Support and actively shape business processes
• Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
• Co‑establish and independently manage a law firm office in North Macedonia in close coordination with the Dresden office
• Regular professional and organizational exchange with the German team
