AUTOMATION ENGINEER IN BERLIN, GERMANY (M/F/D)

In order to support the growth of the company, we are searching for an Automation Engineer.

Tasks

• Automation of production lines with conveyor belts and robot systems.
• Choosing, procuring, and setting up the automation parts of an OLED production line.
• Optimizing production processes in connection with automation, including inkjet printing, annealing in inert gas conditions, and PVD systems.
• Identifying issues and challenges in the process and developing solutions to counter those issues.
• Setting up operating mechanisms for the automation of individual processing parts of the production line.
• Establishing work plans for maintenance and executing them.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in automation of semiconductor production lines that use vacuum equipment, printing equipment, and inert gas chambers.
• Scalable up production processes in the past and knowledge of common challenges and solutions.
• Proven experience (at least 2 years) in the industrial production of OLED lighting or displays, ideally with printing processes.
• Experience in automating production lines with robots and conveyor belts that require high accuracy.
• Experience in PLC programming and SMEMA.
• Ability to dive into leading-edge and highly innovative technology and manufacturing processes.
• Preferably experience in setting up and operating vacuum equipment for OLED production.
• Self‑motivated and creative/innovative.
• Data‑driven with strong documentation, data analysis, reporting, and communication skills.
• Good organization and time‑management skills.
• Strong team player.
