Backend Engineer (.NET) (f/m/d)

Join Apaleo to help build the next generation of open, API-first hospitality software. In this role you will extend backend services in .NET, deploy in Docker, and deliver features end-to-end that scale with a growing platform. You will work closely with product, frontend, and other backend engineers in an agile setting to maintain a reliable, testable, and extensible system. • Implement and extend backend services in .NET 10 in Docker containers
• Develop end-to-end features from database design to RESTful APIs
• Contribute to system scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Monitor production, identify and resolve issues early
• Write clean, well-tested code (unit and e2e tests)
• Own technical projects and drive end-to-end delivery with cross-functional collaboration
• Participate actively in an agile team with open ideas and feedback

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience delivering backend features end-to-end in a cloud environment
• Solid .NET / C# backend development experience
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Docker and basic containerized workflows
• Cloud platforms such as AWS
• Message-based or asynchronous systems (Kafka)
• Familiarity with microservices and API-driven architectures
• Experience or interest in AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
• Fluent in English
