Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care modalities of evidence‑based practices to best meet the clinical needs of patients, e.g., CBT, DBT, Solution‑Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Bereavement/Grief Counseling, etc.
  • Implement these specific treatment modalities in both individual and group therapy settings, focusing on engaging patients in their treatment plan.
  • Review, sign, and finalize patient clinical psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, and consents in a timely manner; maintain clinic records, including documentation of activities performed as part of service delivery.
  • Document all services and patient activities appropriately to ensure compliance with best clinical practices, contracts, regulatory, and other legal requirements.
  • Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans.
  • Participate in regular case planning with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the most clinically appropriate patient disposition.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision as required and engage in ongoing education, including in‑services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve competency; demonstrate competency through post‑testing, skill observation, and performance assessment by a direct supervisor.
  • Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted mental health license in the state of primary residence and the state where medical services are being provided.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to work primarily with pediatric patients.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (required).
  • Patient‑first mindset.

Demonstrates expertise in evidence‑based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Trauma Therapy, while providing patient‑centered care and effective case management. Proficient in documentation and compliance with clinical practices and regulations, with a focus on pediatric patient needs.
