Buchhalter (m/w/d) / Financial Accountant (m/f/w)

• Unterstützung der Finanz-, Debitoren-, Kreditoren- und Anlagenbuchhaltung
• Erfassung, Prüfung und Verbuchung laufender Geschäftsvorfälle in DATEV
• Mitwirkung bei der Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB sowie Unterstützung bei IFRS-Reporting-Prozessen
• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen, Zusammenfassenden Meldungen und Umsatzsteuererklärungen
• Überwachung und Abstimmung von Steuerzahlungen und Steuererstattungen
• Mitarbeit bei der Abwicklung des nationalen und internationalen Zahlungsverkehrs
• Prüfung und Bearbeitung von Reisekostenabrechnungen
• Unterstützung bei der Abstimmung von Bilanz-, GuV- und Intercompany-Konten
• Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Buchhaltungsteams sowie externen Dienstleistern und Beratern
• Erstellung von betriebswirtschaftlichen Auswertungen und Reports unter Einsatz von LucaNet
• Mitwirkung bei der Erstellung von AWV-Meldungen und weiteren statistischen Meldungen
• Unterstützung bei zollrelevanten Prozessen und der Erstellung von Zollanmeldungen
• Mitarbeit bei der Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung von Prozessen im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen

• Supporting financial accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
• Recording, verifying, and posting day-to-day business transactions in DATEV
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and supporting IFRS reporting processes
• Assisting with the preparation of advance sales tax returns, summary reports, and sales tax returns
• Monitoring and reconciling tax payments and tax refunds
• Assisting with the processing of domestic and international payments
• Reviewing and processing travel expense reports
• Assisting with the reconciliation of balance sheet, income statement, and intercompany accounts
• Collaborating with international accounting teams as well as external service providers and consultants
• Preparing business analyses and reports using LucaNet
• Assisting with the preparation of AWV reports and other statistical reports
• Supporting customs-related processes and the preparation of customs declarations
• Assisting with the optimization and further development of processes in finance and accounting

Your profile

• Kaufmännische Ausbildung oder Studium mit Schwerpunkt Finanzen, Accounting, Rechnungswesen oder Steuern
• Sicherer Umgang mit DATEV (Kanzlei Rechnungswesen)
• Erste praktische Erfahrungen im Bereich Accounting oder Finance
• Interesse an nationalen und internationalen Rechnungslegungs- und Steuersthemen
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel
• Hohe Zahlenaffinität sowie eine strukturierte und sorgfältige Arbeitsweise
• Motivation, Verantwortung zu übernehmen und sich fachlich weiterzuentwickeln
• Ausgeprägte Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

• Business training or a degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or taxation
• Proficiency in using DATEV (law firm accounting software)
• Initial practical experience in accounting or finance
• Interest in national and international accounting and tax topics
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong aptitude for numbers and a structured, meticulous approach to work
• Motivation to take on responsibility and further develop your professional skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good command of German and English

Nice-to-have

• Grundkenntnisse in HGB, IFRS und Umsatzsteuerrecht
• Erste Erfahrungen mit dem Reporting Tool LucaNet

• Basic knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB), IFRS and VAT tax law
• Initial experience with the LucaNet reporting tool
