Business Analyst / Actuary Technical Subledger

In this role you drive the design and optimization of the reinsurance subledger, partnering with business units and IT to shape global finance platforms. You will define data flows, ledger solutions, and reporting needs to support IFRS 17 and Solvency II compliance. You’ll lead and contribute to system implementations, migrations, and testing, while communicating with stakeholders across the organization. • Analyse and optimise processes within the reinsurance subledger and its interfaces to general ledger and other systems
• Gather, document, and prioritise business and technical requirements in collaboration with business units and IT
• Design ledger solutions, data flows, and reporting requirements as part of data and process modelling
• Support projects including leading roles for system implementations, migrations, and regulatory compliance (IFRS 17, Solvency II)
• Perform and support functional and integration testing and analyse/resove issues
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders

• Degree in (business) mathematics or a comparable qualification
• Actuary experience, preferably in a reinsurance environment
• Strong expertise in actuarial topics, financial accounting, and regulatory frameworks (IFRS, HGB)
• High IT affinity with a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex topics clearly
• Independent, reliable, and proactive work style
• Very good German and English language skills
• High self-motivation and enthusiasm for actuarial work
