Business Analyst - Payments (all genders)

Effective Field

• You will provide analysis and technical support for further development of valantic banking & payment suite, as well as for projects related to payment transactions
• You will specify requirements from the customer environment, regulatory requirements, and product development
• Conducting webinars, workshops and presentations, Project consulting
• Support in preparing offers
• You will support other departments with payment transaction‑related technical questions
• You will create documents such as specifications, analyses, and product descriptions and technical concepts
• Close cooperation/coordinate with the customer, as well as the internal project management, development department, QA department and our support team
• As part of the valantic team, you will support customers with technical and functional questions

What distinguishes you

• At least 3 years of experience in the field of payment transactions, payment processes and payment instruments
• You are familiar with the processes and formats of relevant European payment systems such as SWIFT, Target2, SEPA CT/DD, and SEPA Instant, VoP, Request2Pay, OLA, …
• You possess knowledge of ISO20022 payment messages, other non‑EU payment systems and processes (card clearing, treasury) as well as knowledge of SWIFT MT payment messages
• You are a motivated team player and you learn quickly and acquire the necessary expertise with dedication and speed
• Knowledge of well‑known clearing systems and their payment processing
• Communication skills
• You have a strong interest in the financial market and financial market products and may already have gained project experience in this area
• You enjoy working in a team, your work style is conscientious, and you pay attention to detail
• You are proactive and take ownership of tasks
• Even on hectic workdays, you remain calm and decisive
• You communicate fluently in English and German, and your demeanor is confident and professional
