Business Analytics & Commercial Performance Analyst (m/f/d)
The Role & Key Responsibilities

You will help transform large volumes of business data into actionable commercial insights and management recommendations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze large datasets from ERP, CRM, Sales and Finance systems
- Build, enhance and maintain sophisticated Excel-based business, profitability and commercial performance models
- Develop analyses that support strategic and commercial decision-making
- Evaluate customer profitability, margin performance and business trends
- Prepare business cases, investment evaluations and financial impact assessments
- Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses to support management decisions
- Identify opportunities, risks and performance drivers through data analysis
- Create executive-ready dashboards, reports and presentations
- Support commercial performance reviews and pricing analyses
- Improve reporting structures, analytical tools and data quality standards
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Commercial Excellence teams on international business projects
- Support management with fact-based recommendations and decision proposals
Required qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
Experience
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience
- Experience in Financial Analysis, Transaction Services, Audit, Consulting, Commercial Excellence, Business Intelligence or Controlling
- Candidates from PwC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG or similar environments are particularly encouraged to apply
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities are essential
- Demonstrated experience building financial models and analyzing large datasets
- Strong understanding of financial and commercial performance metrics
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools is advantageous
- Knowledge of SQL, Power Query or VBA is a plus
