Business Development Director – Oracle Consulting Services, Industrials & Manufacturing

Generate new business for Huron’s Oracle consulting solution areas.
Sell direct-to-customer solutions across Oracle ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, CX, and AI.
Maintain Huron’s status as a premier provider of Oracle consulting services.
Manage accounts and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain frequent contact with existing and prospective clients through calls, email, and in-person meetings.
Anticipate and respond to staffing requests, RFPs, and business opportunities.
Identify opportunities to provide additional Huron services to clients.
Develop new accounts and expand existing accounts within North America, primarily for enterprise accounts in manufacturing, distribution, and high-tech industries.
Network and develop business relationships with customers and Oracle.
Search for opportunities, grow the sales pipeline, generate leads, and submit proposals.
Collaborate with architects, industry SMEs, and delivery professionals to develop solutions and pricing.
Prospect, generate leads, and close deals.
Communicate and partner with C‑Suite, VP, Director, and Manager-level executives.
Assist with refinement of Huron messaging for target manufacturing industries.

Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a business development/sales role in the IT professional services or management consulting industries.
Demonstrated expertise and a strong network within the Oracle ecosystem.
Full sales cycle experience, from lead generation, to identifying opportunities, to closing large, million-dollar plus deals.
Flexible living locations across US, role will require travel as needed.
Experience selling Oracle consulting services across Oracle ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, CX, and AI.
Experience with enterprise accounts with revenue greater than $750M USD in manufacturing, distribution, and high-tech industries.
Ability to communicate and partner with C‑Suite, VP, Director, and Manager level executives.

Demonstrates extensive experience in business development and sales within the IT professional services sector, particularly in Oracle consulting solutions. Proven ability to manage enterprise accounts, generate leads, and close high-value deals while maintaining strong relationships with C‑Suite executives.
