Business Development Manager Car Care & Car Wash

The ideal candidate is p assionate about building business, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities in the car care and car wash market.

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and optimization of innovative car care and car wash formulations
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate laboratory, application, and field tests
• Provide technical support to customers and assist Sales with product launches, application questions, and customer-specific solutions
• Support Business Development by identifying new applications, customers, and market opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Application Technology, Purchasing, Production, and Quality Management
• Support scale-up from laboratory to production and ensure technical transfer
• Monitor market, technology, and application trends in the car care sector
• Travel for customer visits, projects, and trade fairs

Your profile

• Degree (Bachelor) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification, e.g. Chemical Technician
• Several years of professional experience in the car care, car wash, or coatings industry
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the chemical industry and common automotive test methods
• Good understanding of B2B market and customer requirements
• Analytical, structured mindset with creative problem-solving skills in product development
• Independent, careful, and responsible working style
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and customer focus
• Willingness to travel and interest in international collaboration
