Business Development Representative at SaaS platform for construction industry

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a dynamic team in Berlin, focusing on the DACH region. This role is pivotal in driving growth through direct outreach and engaging conversations with potential clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Please note the role requires relocation to Poznań, Poland for the first 3 months.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reach out to companies in the DACH region, specifically within the construction and infrastructure industries.
• Conduct outbound sales primarily via phone and WhatsApp.
• Qualify leads to determine alignment with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Handle first‑level objections effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized pipeline in the CRM system.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in outbound sales, particularly in a BDR/SDR role or similar.
• Strong skills in cold calling.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Comfortable with initiating calls to prospects who may not be expecting your outreach.
• Ability to maintain high energy levels across numerous daily conversations.
• Proactive in driving conversations without relying heavily on email sequences.

Nice to Have

• Fluency in German and Romanian or German and Swedish.
• Experience in early‑stage startups.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary ranging from €3,000 to €4,000.
• Hybrid work setup in Berlin, with a minimum of one day per week in the office.
• German employment contract with a six‑month probation period.
