Business Process Engineer Analysis and Optimisation

In this role you will help shape the automation landscape within Finance Global Services, Operations & Reporting at Hannover Re. You’ll contribute to transformation initiatives from idea to implementation and push continuous improvement of processes and knowledge. You work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver automation solutions using modern workflow technologies. • Analyse business processes to identify automation opportunities
• Develop and implement automation solutions (RPA, AI-assisted workflows, Copilot Studio Agents)
• Design and implement API-based integrations and customised software
• Support transformation initiatives from requirements through rollout
• Collaborate with departments and facilitate solution development workshops
• Ensure quality, traceability, and sustainable operation of automation solutions

• Degree in business informatics, computer science or comparable qualification
• Several years’ experience in developing or implementing automation solutions
• Knowledge of business analysis, process automation and RPA, interest in AI-enabled solutions like Microsoft Copilot
• Programming skills in Python, C# or Java
• Fluent German and conversational English
• Strong communication skills to present complex topics and align stakeholders
