Business Process Engineer Third-Party Risk Management (f/m/d)

As a Business Process Engineer for TPRM, you will design and optimize end-to-end risk workflows to identify, assess, monitor, and manage third-party risk. You will bridge risk requirements with operational execution and align procurement with TPRM across the organization, in a Frankfurt-based role. You will translate regulatory obligations into practical process steps, build auditable workflows, and drive continuous improvement. This position offers exposure to modern tooling, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen risk controls and efficiency. You will work with AI-enabled automation to scale TPRM processes and support audits and governance.

• Design and optimize TPRM lifecycle processes (onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, contracting, monitoring, offboarding)
• Design and implement TPRM workflows in the ServiceNow Platform; configure and maintain workflow tools (ServiceNow, Databricks)
• Harmonize Procurement and TPRM workflows into a unified process
• Translate regulatory obligations (e.g., DORA ICT third-party risk) and internal policy into operational steps and controls
• Create and maintain process maps, SOPs, RACIs, and control documentation with governance
• Define and track process KPIs/KRIs for management reporting and improvement
• Serve as liaison among TPRM, business units, IT, Procurement, and second-line risk functions
• Lead process change initiatives including impact assessment, testing, training, and rollout
• Identify automation opportunities (multi AI agent orchestration, workflow automation, logic, risk scoring) and implement per governance
• Support internal audit, regulatory exams, and quality assurance through well-documented and consistently applied processes
• Oversee RUN and Governance activities for the TPRM team

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• 6+ years in business process engineering, process improvement, or operations (finance domain preferred)
• Experience or exposure to Third-Party Risk Management, vendor management, or outsourcing oversight is desirable
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN; experience with process mapping tools
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (DORA, EBA/ESMA outsourcing guidelines) is a plus
• Experience with GRC/TPRM platforms (ServiceNow, Archer, OneTrust) or Databricks preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, client-centric with diplomacy and assertiveness
• English proficiency; German a plus; multilingual is helpful
