Buyer, Indirect Procurement – Procurement Specialist

• Prepare requests and compare quotations, conduct negotiations, draft contracts and conclude agreements for local requirements


• Prepare procurement awards for central purchasing, obtain and compare offers, and support supplier selection


• Create purchase orders, review order confirmations, and process invoices and payments


• Monitor delivery dates and handle complaints


• Manage local suppliers from onboarding through ongoing cooperation to evaluation and auditing


• Work closely with departments and central purchasing


• Develop purchasing processes pragmatically and with a future-oriented approach

Requirements

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training


• Further training in procurement ideally desirable


• Experience in indirect purchasing, technical procurement, or sourcing of technical supplies


• Technical understanding and the ability to reliably interpret technical requirements


• Confident negotiation skills


• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style


• Proficient in MS Office


• Knowledge of SAP R/3 MM or experience with comparable ERP systems is a plus


• Very good German language skills


• Good English language skills
