Category Specialist, Stationary Power (Battery Sales) - Central Europe

Location: Germany with regular travel required in the region

MK Battery is one of the world's largest specialty VRLA and lithium battery suppliers focused on delivering high-quality products along with unmatched customer support. MK Battery, with distribution centers throughout the world, is a subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar battery manufacturer.

We have an opening in our sales department for an experienced B2B professional that is motivated to succeed, creative and can work with limited supervision. The role will be responsible for growing the MK European business within the Stationary Power Category. The position will require travel throughout Central Europe.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Expanding MK's customer base within the Stationary Power Category
• Visiting customers and prospects to support and grow sales in the territory
• Managing and supporting existing customers
• Quoting new business opportunities
• Attending assigned trade shows in territory
• Working closely with product category managers within the company to grow business

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

• Fluent German and English speaking and writing
• Minimum 5 years of direct B2B sales experience
• Previous battery sales experience or relevant industry experience is essential
• Strong written and verbal people skills
• Verifiable employment history
