Location: Germany (Hybrid - largely remote)

Join an established medical device manufacturer with a reputation for delivering innovative solutions that support minimally invasive procedures with a focus on rigid endoscopes. Operating internationally through a network of distributor partners, they are entering an exciting phase of growth and investment.

To accelerate our commercial expansion, they are looking for an experienced sales professional to help strengthen our distribution network, identify new market opportunities, and contribute to the strategic development of our product portfolio. • Drive Commercial Strategy: Analyse market trends, competitor activity, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities to shape future commercial initiatives, product positioning, and route-to-market strategies.
• Portfolio & Market Analysis: Assess the existing product portfolio, identify gaps and areas for growth, benchmark against competitors, and provide strategic recommendations to support product and business development.
• Develop Distribution Partnerships: Expand and strengthen the company's European distributor network by identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and managing high-performing distribution and channel partners.
• Enhance Sales Effectiveness: Work closely with leadership to establish scalable sales processes, performance metrics, and commercial best practices that support sustainable growth across key markets.
• Market Expansion & Segmentation: Identify opportunities within existing and new markets, evaluate commercial potential, and develop targeted go-to-market plans to accelerate revenue growth.
• Voice of the Customer: Gather and translate customer, distributor, and market feedback into actionable insights, ensuring commercial and user requirements are reflected in future product development and portfolio decisions.
• Distributor Performance Management: Support and challenge distribution partners through regular business reviews, sales planning, product training, and joint market development activities to maximise market penetration and revenue performance.

Your profile:

• Several years of successful experience in medical device sales, with a strong track record in B2B commercial environments.
• Experience working with distributors, channel partners, or indirect sales networks across international markets.
• Knowledge of rigid endoscopy or related surgical/medical technologies is highly desirable , but not essential.
• Strong understanding of market analysis, customer needs assessment, and commercial strategy development.
• Proven ability to identify, recruit, and manage distributor partnerships to drive market growth.
• Strategic mindset with excellent analytical, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence both internal and external partners.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across Europe (approximately 20-30%).
