Snapshot of Your Day

As the Chief Architect, you will lead the architectural vision for our Services and Digital (SVD) product portfolio in Electrification, Automation & Digital (EAD) division. Your expertise will guide technology direction, ensuring our solutions are scalable and aligned with our long-term business goals. Collaborating with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders, you will transform complex requirements into sustainable architectural blueprints.

You will establish standards and best practices, integrating cross-product capabilities like cloud-native applications, web APIs, data analytics, mobile solutions, and UI/UX. Your influence in strategic decision-making will involve evaluating emerging technologies and mentoring technical teams to foster a culture of excellence.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Lead cross-product technology strategies to deliver customer value and achieve business goals.
Oversee architectural governance, making informed technology decisions and addressing legal considerations.
Support product managers with business cases and implementation strategies while guiding technical growth.
Establish guidelines for coding, testing, deployment, and cloud services.
Drive standardization of digital architecture across SVD products.

What You Bring

A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Mastery of frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA).
Expertise in microservices, APIs, and system modernization.
10+ years of experience in programming, database management, and software architecture.
Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to bridge technical and business language.
A proactive leader who can inspire cross-functional teams.
Key Soft Skills:
Strong negotiation and influencing skills to advocate for innovative solutions.
Strategic thinking to architect groundbreaking technologies that align with business goals.
Ability to guide without authority, fostering collaboration and buy-in from stakeholders.
Coaching and mentoring to develop team capabilities.
