Chief Financial Officer, Volunteer

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the association's financial structure, including planning, management and control of all financial resources
• Establishing and further developing a robust financial architecture to support sustainable growth
• Responsibility for budget planning, liquidity management and the use of funds within the framework of the organization's non‑profit/charitable status
• Developing and implementing strategies to recruit supporting members and financial backers
• Active involvement in fundraising through direct outreach, structuring proposals and supporting the finalization of commitments
• Building and maintaining relationships with donors, partners and institutional funders
• Ensuring transparent financial processes and proper accounting in accordance with tax requirements
• Close collaboration with the executive leadership to manage overall financial control and to prioritize initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in financial management, controlling or comparable commercial/financial roles
• Understanding of financial structures in non-profit organizations or a strong willingness to become familiar with them
• Ability to connect financial strategies with operational implementation
• Experience or demonstrable strength in fundraising, partnership development or business development
• Structured, self‑directed working style and a high level of reliability
• Confident handling of numbers, planning models and financial/economic contexts
