Responsibilities

• Take ownership of regular financial reporting and analyses for the headquarters, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and timely financial statement preparation in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Collect, maintain, and manage customer master data.
• Issue invoices and execute related transaction processes in the ERP system (SAP).
• Conduct the accounting and posting of incoming payments, monitor open items, and prepare accounts receivable (AR) reports.
• Perform accounts payable (AP) reconciliations and carry out related analyses.
• Review and analyze customer sales rebates and associated fees.
• Review staff travel reimbursements and record them in the system.
• Execute AP tasks such as invoice verification, posting, and preparation of payment runs.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to the optimization of existing workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in accounting.
• Strong interest in accounting, reporting and financial processes.
• High proficiency in MS Office; especially MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Fluent in German and English; Chinese language skills is a big plus.
