Overview

We are supporting a Phase I clinical trial site in the Erlangen area that requires an experienced Clinical Study Coordinator on a flexible freelance basis.

The coordinator will provide on-site support to help the study team stay on track with recruitment, timelines and study deliverables.

The commitment is expected to be around 8-hours per week, so it may suit someone looking for a small freelance assignment alongside their existing work.

This is a study coordination role, not a Study Nurse position. It does not involve performing patient procedures or clinical assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting patient information and informed consent discussions
• Following up on study logistics and sample management
• Coordinating site activities to support study timelines

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience coordinating clinical studies at an investigative site, hospital or clinical research centre.
• Experience with eCRF systems and clinical study data entry.
• Experience supporting informed consent processes and participant communication.
• A good understanding of clinical study processes and GCP requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fully fluent German.
• Availability to attend the study site in the Erlangen area when required.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Experience supporting Phase I clinical trials.
