Responsibilities

Specialize in managing and leveraging Microsoft Purview for data security and compliance.
Assess, design, and implement information protection schemes for clients, including sensitivity labels and encryption.
Design and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across the Microsoft 365 stack and on users’ endpoints.
Design and implement data retention solutions based on legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and design appropriate data governance strategies.
Monitor and ensure adherence to data privacy and protection regulations.
Develop and implement best practices for data protection and governance within Microsoft Purview.
Provide training and technical support to colleagues on Purview capabilities.

Requirements

Citizenship of one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship.
Excellent communication skills in English and German.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience (5+ years) with Microsoft cloud technologies, including at least 2 years of specialized experience with Microsoft Purview.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Purview, and experience with its integrations with Microsoft 365 technologies such as Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint.
Solid understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, and experience ensuring compliance within Purview environments.
