• Commercial escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders for any relevant topics within the Commercial department
• Support with multimodal rate schemes (Ocean/Rail/Road/Air/Sea-Air) in the context of our Rate Card Management activities
• Leading freight tenders, including analysis, preparation and processing
• Creation of presentations for our customers and business partners
• Internal as well as external rate negotiations
• Collaboration with customers and different Kuehne+Nagel country organizations in an international environment
• Collaboration and support on projects

• Experience in freight forwarding and in logistics services, and a deep understanding of logistics processes
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken and conversational level of German skills
• High level of user skills for MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Customer oriented and economical mindset and acting
• Analytical mindset, structured way of working as well as affinity for numbers
• Personal resilience, team- and customer-oriented mindset and acting, good and effective self-management
• Willingness to occasionally travel (1-2x a year)
