About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Automation & Control Engineer to join a project in the energy sector in Switzerland. The person in this role will be responsible for supporting the commissioning and testing of the Emerson Ovation 4.0 control system. The project involves system startup activities, signal testing, and verification of communication between field devices and the DCS system.

Your Responsibilities Required Skills and Experience

• Participate in the commissioning and configuration of the Emerson Ovation 4.0 system.

• Perform loop checks between field devices and the DCS/Ovation system.

• Test and verify input/output (I/O) signals.

• Support the commissioning of gas turbine control systems.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to communication and automation system configuration.

• Prepare test documentation and report project progress.

Required Skills and Experience

• Several years of experience in commissioning industrial automation.

• Hands‑on experience with Emerson Ovation DCS .

• Experience in loop checks, SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), commissioning, and plant startup activities .

• Experience with turbines will be considered an advantage.

• Good knowledge of DCS control systems used in industrial environments.

• Very good command of English .

• Availability to work onsite in Switzerland for several months or remotely with occasional visits to Switzerland.
