Compliance and Prevention Associate (Complaints Management)

About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance & Prevention Associate to join our Complaints Management & Prevention team. Reporting directly to the Complaints Compliance & Prevention Manager, you will execute regulatory remediation deliverables, conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA), perform data reconciliations, and enforce compliance checks on complaint handling output across all markets, with a focus on Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute audit findings compliance and remediation, assuring timely delivery of projects.
• Draft and update Written Orders, Work Instructions, and process maps.
• Perform deep-dive case investigations to identify underlying root causes.
• Collect, verify, structure, and archive evidence packages for control reviews.
• Support qualitative and quantitative compliance verification on complaint output.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in compliance controls, assurance, banking operations, or complaints management in the German financial space.
• Full working proficiency in German.
• Professional experience in consulting, assurance functions, financial regulation, banking quality assurance, or audit support.
• Practical understanding of the complaint lifecycle under BaFin MaBeschwer, PSD2, and MaComp standards.
• Fluent English required.
