Compliance Specialist, Military & Defence Compliance DACH

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations in the Military & Defence sector
• Assess defence-relevant products, technologies and business activities
• Advise business units on regulatory requirements and support implementation and monitoring of appropriate compliance measures to mitigate risks
• Implement internal policies and procedures
• Develop and deliver trainings to raise employee awareness
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant business activities in line with applicable Military & Defence security regulations
• Conduct audits and internal controls to continuously improve the Military & Defence Compliance Management System
• Support external inspections and audits
• Assist with and support tender processes
• Build and maintain a Defence network

Requirements

• Completed degree, preferably with a focus on foreign trade / logistics, or an equivalent vocational qualification
• Experience working with authorities is an advantage
• Strong knowledge in Military & Defence with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong process- and results-orientation
• Independent working style
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluent German language skills
• Very good written and spoken English
• Experience in independently conducting trainings
• Willingness to undergo security clearance
• Basic willingness to travel

Core Competencies

Demonstrates strong knowledge in Military & Defence regulations, compliance management, and risk mitigation strategies. Capable of developing training programs and conducting audits to ensure adherence to national and international standards.
