Compliance Specialist, Data Protection DACH

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support in the implementation and further development of the data protection management system in the DACH region
• Advise business units on data protection legal questions in day-to-day operations
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection requirements (in particular GDPR, BDSG, national data protection requirements in AT and CH; Binding Corporate Rules)
• Review and assess data protection–relevant processes, systems and projects
• Assist in handling data subject requests and data protection incidents
• Conduct awareness measures and training
• Support contract reviews (in particular data processing agreements)
• Prepare data protection–related documents and registers
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (in particular IT, P&A O, works councils)

Requirements

• A completed degree in business law, law, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in data protection
• Good knowledge of the GDPR and other data protection requirements in the DACH region
• Experience working with operational business units and IT departments
• Excellent analytical skills and a solution‑oriented approach
• Business fluent English, spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite
