Consultant Commodity Trading (all genders) - BCG Platinion

In this role you help leading commodity traders modernize IT landscapes and implement tailored trading solutions. You’ll work with clients and BCG colleagues to unlock value from asset-backed trading strategies and build or upgrade CTRM/ETRM capabilities. You shape target architectures, coordinate delivery programs, and contribute to high-impact digital modernization efforts. • Analyze requirements and define target landscapes and trading IT organizations
• Shape architecture, data domains, and process designs for energy trading solutions
• Lead or participate in delivery of CTRM/ETRM, portfolio management, market access, data platforms, and related tools
• Coordinate implementation activities across business analysts, developers, and QA teams
• Contribute to delivery quality with methodological guidance based on commodity trading experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in implementation programs in commodity trading
• Hands-on technical knowledge of designing, implementing, and configuring commodity trading solutions (ETRM/CTRM)
• Experience in teams spanning multiple work streams or sub-projects
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with client- and result-orientation
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams toward common goals
