Consultant, Policy (Vaccines) (Fully Remote)

• Serve as a subject matter expert on statutory and regulatory, federal and state health policy-related issues impacting the pharmaceutical/biotech sector, with a specific emphasis on vaccine policy.
• Support and assist in managing project teams to help solve complex client problems and engage clients with novel solutions and ideas.
• Manage multiple clients, as well as short- and long-term deliverables, to ensure that all of Avalere’s knowledge and expertise are available to meet client needs.

About you:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, health economics, business administration, or a relevant discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare consulting role, vaccine manufacturer, or similar company focusing on policy and market access, marketing, or commercialization for vaccine products.
• Knowledge of the U.S. vaccine policy and market access landscape and how it differs from other medical benefit drugs, including pricing, contracting, and reimbursement across Medicare, Medicaid, VFC, Section 317, Universal Purchase states, and Commercial markets.
