Consulting Remote (Germany) Freelance (external contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tricentis Tosca expert to join us as an external freelance consultant. You bring deep, hands-on expertise in Tosca to our enterprise customers and take ownership of complex test automation challenges - from architecture decisions to hands-on implementation.

Job details

• Fully remote, based in Germany
• Freelance / external contractor engagement, not an Automators employment contract
• Scope and capacity agreed per project, with the possibility to extend for the right fit

What you'll do

• Own test automation architecture and implementation on customer projects using Tricentis Tosca
• Advise customers on best practices for scaling test automation across large, complex landscapes
• Design test cases from customer requirements such as user stories and business processes
• Lead the setup and configuration of Tosca environments, including integrations (SAP, Salesforce, APIs, and more)
• Work closely with developers and business analysts, usually in agile teams or a test center
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders

What you bring

• Several years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca in enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of test automation strategy, CI/CD integration and modern testing practices
• Comfortable working independently as an external consultant on customer engagements
• Excellent English, spoken and written. German is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience with Tricentis qTest, Vision AI or the wider Tricentis product suite
• ISTQB certification
• Own business registration / freelance setup in Germany

Why Automators

You join the team that runs test automation for enterprises like BMW, Porsche and Allianz, three-time Tricentis Partner of the Year. We stay at the cutting edge of QA technology, so there is always something new to learn and room to improve it.

Are you up to the challenge? We thought so.
