Content & Communications Marketing Manager – Germany

Develop Pennylane’s German content strategy and shape how the company is perceived in the German market
Develop LinkedIn content, editorial calendars, and content pillars covering the product, e-invoicing, market trends, and related topics
Create video and written case studies and customer stories, including a structured repurposing approach
Develop lead magnets, guides, articles, newsletters, and other formats for accounting firms and SMEs
Support the development and production of the podcast
Adapt international content for the German market, audience, and cultural context
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, and Sales on product launches, product updates, and market topics
Translate complex product, regulatory, and accounting subjects into accessible and engaging content
Develop sales-enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, product stories, and other assets
Create content for events, webinars, and conferences, including social posts, emails, presentations, event pages, and onsite materials
Support communications before, during, and after events and maintain a consistent brand presence
Establish content processes and editorial plans with German and international teams
Coordinate designers, freelancers, agencies, and other external partners as needed
Use AI tools for research, drafting, repurposing, and localization while maintaining quality, accuracy, and tone of voice
Analyze content performance and continuously improve topics and formats

Requirements

Native-level German writing and speaking skills
Very good professional English skills
Approximately 5 years of experience in Content, Communications, Product Marketing, Brand Content, or B2B Marketing
Experience writing for a B2B audience, ideally in SaaS, FinTech, Finance, Accounting, or another complex or regulated environment
Ability to quickly understand complex information and develop clear, relevant, and compelling stories
Strong editorial judgment
Ability to structure, prioritize, and advance multiple topics and projects simultaneously
Comfortable collaborating with Brand, Product, Sales, Growth, and Events teams
Ability to work independently without needing a perfect brief
Careful, quality-focused approach balanced with speed and pragmatism
Experience building a brand in a new market, content repurposing, AI-supported content processes, and international environments are a plus, but not required
