Clients engage Moore Consulting as their service provider, and all work is managed, quality‑controlled, and delivered under the direct supervision of our principal consultant.

The Opportunity

Moore Consulting is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing professional network on a contract, project, or retainer basis. This is a remote, flexible role with no guaranteed hours but consistent project opportunities as our client base grows. Work may be located anywhere in the United States.

Engagement terms, hourly rates, and project scope will vary by assignment and will be agreed upon prior to each engagement. This role is ideal for professionals who have been recently laid off, are transitioning out of a full‑time role, or find themselves between opportunities and want to keep their skills active while taking on meaningful work.

You will be deployed on client engagements under the direct oversight of Moore Consulting. All work is performed as a subcontractor to Moore Consulting. Subcontractors are not employees and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and redlining commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor contracts, and technology agreements.
• Analyzing contract language, identifying risk, and providing clear recommendations in plain language for business stakeholders.
• Coordinating with client teams to clarify requirements, negotiate terms, and track key dates and renewal deadlines.
• Maintaining accurate records within contract management systems and document repositories.
• Preparing contract status reports and contributing to the development of standardized templates and best practices.
• Supporting process improvement initiatives and governance documentation as directed by Moore Consulting.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field, or a paralegal certification with equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated, hands‑on experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts across multiple industries.
• Proficiency with contract management software or document management platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex contract language clearly to non‑legal stakeholders.
• Experience across multiple industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted contract review tools is a plus but not required.

This is contract work with no benefits provided. Pay rates and engagement terms are negotiated individually based on experience, scope, and project type.
