Contract Web Designer, EST/CST Preferred

Stellenbeschreibung:

Design and lay out visually engaging, on-brand web pages
Build and update WordPress pages using Beaver Builder and block-based page-building tools
Create and maintain page templates, landing pages, banners, graphics, and website assets
Publish, update, and format website content including text, images, videos, and campaign pages
Collaborate with SEO and Product Marketing teams on content updates, new pages, campaigns, and product initiatives
Use WP Engine staging environments to develop, review, test, and deploy website updates
Apply M-Files brand guidelines for typography, color, imagery, and layout
Optimize CSS, page layouts, and images for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
Apply on-page SEO best practices, including heading structures, alt text, internal linking, and metadata
Proofread and quality-check pages across browsers and devices
Maintain consistent design components and content structure
Troubleshoot minor layout, styling, and display issues
Stay current with web design, usability, accessibility, and performance trends
Coordinate publishing and maintenance of localized website content across languages

Requirements

Experience designing, building, and maintaining websites in WordPress or a comparable CMS
Hands-on experience with Beaver Builder and WordPress block-based page-building tools
Experience working with WP Engine, including staging, testing, and production environments
Strong visual design skills and understanding of layout, typography, color, and brand consistency
Proficiency with Figma and Sketch
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, including CSS troubleshooting and optimization
Familiarity with responsive, mobile-first, accessible, and performance-focused web design principles
Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals
Experience collaborating with SEO, Product Marketing, content, and web teams
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple website updates and deadlines
