Country Manager Services Germany

As Country Manager Services , you’ll be based in Novar’s Munich office, working as part of the Novar team while leading Klaer’s expansion into Germany. You’ll grow the market for Klaer’s Operations & Maintenance and Asset Management services—developing the local team, building client relationships and winning new businesses.

You’ll work closely with the Services organisation in the Netherlands and report directly to its Business Unit Director. Together, you’ll drive the business forward and strengthen cooperation across both countries.

What you'll do

As the first Klaer representative in Germany, you'll have a unique combination of

strategic and operational responsibility. You will develop the strategy for the German

market and translate it into clear priorities for your team, clients, sales and operations.

From hiring your first team members to managing the P&L —you’re accountable for it end to end.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Set up and run the German Klaer organisation, aligned with Klaer in the Netherlands and Novar Group's structure.
• Manage the annual plan, budget and local P&L.
• Recruit, develop and grow your team as the business scales.
• Oversee solar park asset management in Germany to Klaer's quality standards.
• Select, contract and manage local subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local health & safety and regulatory requirements.
• Develop new client relationships for O&M and asset management services.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
• Represent Klaer externally and translate market developments into opportunities.

What you bring

We're looking for an entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong leadership qualities. You're someone who takes initiative, builds trust quickly and knows how to inspire a team from the ground up.

You also have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technical Business Administration or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience, including proven success in an operational leadership and/or commercial role.
• A genuine affinity with renewable energy and solid knowledge of the German energy market.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills are essential. A commercial mindset and experience in sales or business development are a plus.
• Experience setting up or scaling an organisation or department.
• Familiarity with H&S management.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written), plus fluency in German.
