Customer Quotation Specialist

The Customer Quotation Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotes for customers, ensuring a seamless and professional quoting process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction and supporting the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requests for quotes (RFQs) and gather all necessary information to prepare accurate and competitive quotations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and production, to ensure that quotes are based on current product specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Use pricing models and tools to calculate costs and establish appropriate pricing strategies.
• Ensure that all quotes are prepared in a timely manner and meet both customer and company requirements.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and provide updates on the status of their quotes.
• Maintain accurate records of all quotations, customer interactions, and relevant documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding quotes to maximize conversion rates.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for the quoting process.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a quoting, pricing, or sales support role, preferably within the industry sector.
• Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with quoting/pricing software.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
