Production Technicians (m/f/d) for Maintenance and Servicing of Splicing and Measuring Equipment

Responsibilities

• Annual inspection of our customers’ splicing and fiber cleaving devices
• Inspection, testing, and cleaning of the equipment
• Competent execution of repair work on splicing and fiber cleaving devices
• Soldering and assembly work (using tweezers, sometimes under a magnifying glass) on components
• Assembly and adjustment of electronic and mechanical components
• Testing, measuring, and calibrating devices and assemblies, including documentation

Qualifications

• Completed technical training
• Manual dexterity, good fine motor skills and good eyesight
• Practical experience in the assembly of electronic components
• Knowledge of SMD soldering technology is an advantage
• Quick comprehension, extreme reliability and strong quality awareness
• Knowledge of MS Office programs
• Individual training in all technical and commercial details of the position offered
• Good development opportunities and autonomous work
