DACH Global Delivery Division Lead

Stellenbeschreibung:

About the Opportunity

Clearwater is experiencing exceptional growth across the DACH region, with a rapidly expanding client base. As we deepen our footprint in one of Europe’s most sophisticated investment markets, we are onboarding some of the largest and most complex institutional investors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland onto our cloud‑native SaaS platform. This role is a senior leadership position within the Global Delivery division, responsible for onboarding new clients onto Clearwater’s SaaS platform.

Role Overview

This position leads the end‑to‑end delivery strategy for the DACH region, builds and scales a high‑performing team of implementation professionals, and serves as the senior‑most delivery leader accountable for client outcomes across the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the delivery strategy and define the regional delivery roadmap.
  • Align team capacity, hiring plans, and process design to the DACH growth pipeline.
  • Establish delivery standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks for consistent, scalable, and repeatable client outcomes.
  • Act as the regional voice into Global Delivery leadership, influencing investment priorities and operating model decisions.
  • Build, lead, and develop a world‑class team of implementation professionals.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a delivery team of project managers, SMEs, and analysts.
  • Create clear career development pathways and a high‑performance culture grounded in coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the full performance‑management cycle: structured 1‑on‑1s, biannual reviews, and ongoing mentoring.
  • Own client success at the highest level and serve as a senior delivery escalation point for DACH clients, Clearwater stakeholders, and third‑party partners (up to and including C‑suite decision makers).
  • Personally lead the most complex and high‑profile client engagements.
  • Scope requirements and configure solutions using Clearwater’s proprietary platform to address reconciliation, accounting, reporting, and data‑management needs of large institutional clients during onboarding.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement quantitative and qualitative metrics that provide real visibility into delivery performance, project health, and process effectiveness.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Programme Management to continuously improve the client onboarding experience—shortening timelines, improving quality, and building scalable processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement: identify inefficiencies, drive solutions, and leave a lasting operational mark on the business.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant senior leadership experience in delivery, implementation, or programme management within financial services, fintech, or asset management.
  • A proven track record of building and leading delivery teams of 10‑15+ people in a matrixed, project‑driven environment.
  • Deep domain knowledge and extensive experience with institutional clients in the DACH region.
  • Demonstrable success delivering large‑scale transformational projects for institutional clients—on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
  • The ability to operate at both a strategic and execution level: setting direction for a team while remaining a credible, hands‑on contributor when needed.
  • Comfort operating in Agile and matrix reporting structures, managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—from one‑to‑one coaching through to presenting confidently to C‑suite clients.
  • A consistent track record of engaging directly with CXO‑level stakeholders, with the presence and judgement that commands respect.

Professional Skills

  • Proven ability to communicate in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Dynamic problem‑solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to DACH institutional investors (e.g., Solvency II, BaFin, HGB, IFRS) is advantageous.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
  • A culture that values your contribution and offers real opportunities for career development.
  • Collaboration with leading institutional clients across the DACH region and beyond.
  • Access to a high‑growth, global fintech transforming investment management with a comprehensive cloud‑native platform.
