YOUR TASKS

• Project Planning: Independently plan and manage customer and internal projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, scope, and quality targets.
• Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership to the internal project team for the introduction of new products or changes into series production, acting as the interface between sales, engineering, quality management, quality assurance, production, logistics, and customers.
• Customer Management: Maintain regular customer contact and support the acquisition of new projects.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare cost calculations for tools, components, or assemblies.
• Budget Responsibility: Plan and monitor project budgets and take responsibility for product cost targets.
• Project Coordination: Prepare and follow up on project milestones and team meetings.
• Change Management: Execute technical change management and claim management processes.
• Process Optimization: Implement measures to improve cost efficiency, quality, productivity, and ergonomics.

YOUR PROFILE

• Qualifications: A completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: Several years of successful experience in project management, with expertise in composite components, assemblies, and tooling.
• Knowledge: Knowledge and practical application of project management methods and Lean management tools.
• Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Personal Strengths: Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Language Skills: negotiation-level proficiency in German and English.

Vaihingen/Enz, located in southwest Germany, is the group's headquarters.
The plant focuses on the production of electrical insulation materials and composites. Modern vertical, stack and moulding presses are used on an area of around 25,000 square metres. High-strength components are manufactured in the filament winding area.
The materials and semi-finished products are mainly supplied to customers in the energy and mobility sectors. The group's headquarters is the centre of research and development as well as the technical centre. About 330 people work in manufacturing and administration in Vaihingen/Enz today. All products and services are available to customers worldwide through our global sales team.
Vaihingen/Enz is conveniently located on the national road B10 in the heart of the Stuttgart metropolitan region, one of the strongest economic areas in Europe. In the immediate vicinity are numerous local recreation areas, such as the Black Forest or the Lake Constance region. First-class cultural offerings can be found, as well as excellent educational opportunities and shopping facilities.

Two Krempel competence centres are located at the Zwönitz site in the German Ore Mountains. The Paper Technology division produces electro-insulating pressboard in sheet form, the so-called powerboard, and thus complements the roll pressboard production in neighbouring Thalheim. The products are used to insulate electrical machinery and equipment. In the Composites & Parts division, fibre-reinforced plastic parts are produced according to customer-specific requirements, primarily for the aerospace industry.
About 120 people work on an area of more than 73,000 square metres. All products and services are available to customers worldwide through our global sales team.
Zwönitz is located in the German Ore Mountains near the border to the Czech Republic. It has a population of just under 12,000 and is about 30 minutes from Chemnitz, the European Capital of Culture 2025. The location is linked to a centuries-old paper tradition. As early as the 16th century, paper of the highest quality was made on the site of today's mill.
