Delivery Engineering Manager

Delivery Engineering Manager: Defining and overseeing the entire QA process of a high-traffic, consumer-facing product with an accent on shaping QA practices and improving release confidence. Focus on evolving testing strategy, reporting, and automation in a way that supports both speed and quality.

Location: Working closely with Product and Engineering teams across multiple locations, including the US and Europe .

What you will do

• Own and evolve the QA strategy and delivery process in a fast-paced, weekly release environment.
• Drive quality gates and risk-based testing for frequent releases and last-minute changes.
• Lead and coordinate QA efforts across distributed teams and time zones (incl. LA / Europe).
• Establish clear ownership, triage, and escalation flows for defects and release risks.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Stakeholders to balance speed, quality, and risk.
• Drive post-release analysis, incident reviews, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years in QA / Quality Engineering / Delivery roles, including leadership or management experience.
• Strong experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environments (frequent releases, changing scope, tight timelines).
• Proven ability to build or fix QA processes in low-maturity or growing organizations.
• Experience working with distributed teams and stakeholders across time zones.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with imperfect processes, incomplete documentation, and ambiguity.
