Design Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Design Engineer, you will deliver design services aligned with customer needs and program scope. You will lead design work packages and collaborate with internal and external experts to generate technical definitions. You’ll prepare design data for approval across development, production, and service stages, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will assess designs for feasibility, safety, manufacturability, and reliability, and implement design changes as needed. This role sits in a global, diverse environment with growth potential and opportunities to shape products and processes.

• Lead and execute design work packages with support from specialists
• Create technical definitions within scope, budget, and schedule
• Prepare design data for approval across development, production, and service
• Ensure design data complies with regulations, customer, authority, and manufacturing requirements
• Review design data for completeness, functionality, compliance, and calculations
• Perform design analyses for cost efficiency, safety, manufacturability, and reliability
• Prepare and implement design changes and redesigns
• Design and implement common procedures and standards
• Support product change management
• Collaborate with other business departments

• Up to 4 years of formal study in engineering or comparable knowledge/experience
• Competent technical specialist
• Preferred experience in the aerospace industry
• Ability to influence others regarding guidelines, practices, and procedures
