Development Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

Rolls-Royce Deutschland is offering an exciting opportunity as an Development Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Dahlewitz near Berlin.

Key Accountabilities

• Carrying out development engine tests according to specifications, also at other locations, working in early/late shifts incl. once a month, Saturday work is welcome.


• Planning, project planning, preparation and provision of tests, test facilities and test equipment in compliance with agreed deadlines and cost targets


• Operation of the testbed systems in accordance with applicable guidelines; technical guidance of assembly personnel


• Evaluation of performance parameters, troubleshooting and problem elimination on engine hardware as well as on supportive development systems (hydraulic, air pressure) based on technical instructions


• Logistical support of the test bench operation, ensuring the availability of all equipment

Qualifications And Skills

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar qualifications


• Comprehensive knowledge of the functioning of aircraft engines and turbo-machinery


• IT skills (MS Office)


• Commitment (initiative), motivation, willingness to travel and flexibility


• Team and communication skills


• Ability to deal with conflict and under pressure


• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
