DevOps Engineer - Telecommunications - Germany - Up to 110k EUR

In this role you enable reliable, scalable software delivery for a major European telecom provider. You will drive automated integration and delivery, shape cross-project infrastructure, and develop deployment and disaster recovery strategies. You’ll work with the operations team to boost process efficiency and system performance while exploring cloud and automation initiatives. This is a high-impact role that combines hands-on engineering with strategic project leadership to support critical tech platforms.

• Support complex projects across development, QA and planning and manage product releases
• Develop strategies for automated integration and delivery, including cross-project infrastructure and toolset
• Develop new deployment strategies and disaster recovery plans
• Work within the operations team to improve process efficiency and software/system performance
• Lead strategically oriented projects in Cloud and automation environments

• Degree in computer science or another STEM subject or comparable education
• 5+ years of experience operating virtualized/container-based applications and administering high-availability Linux systems
• Deep knowledge of DevOps practices, especially automation of configuration and administration
• Proven expertise in at least one cloud platform (Google, Azure, AWS, OTC) and good knowledge of at least one other cloud
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as git, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle
• Experience in monitoring and log management, plus scripting languages
• IT security mindset with knowledge of encryption technologies and PKI (TLS, certificates, CA)
